Summary:
The Condition Monitoring Analyst will assist with the growth and development of the Ohio Cat Condition Monitoring program.
This role will work closely with our Equipment Management team, sales, and service departments to provide timely information and/or recommendations related to overall equipment health.
The Condition Monitoring Analyst will work with various tools and/or platforms provided by Caterpillar and Ohio Cat to monitor equipment for customers as well as Ohio Cat rental fleet.
Analyze equipment health data and provide equipment and/or operation recommendations to both internal and external customers.
Summarize data analysis results in clear and easy-to-understand written reports and visualizations.
Recommend updates and/or enhancements to the current Product Support process.
Use applications to analyze Condition Monitoring data (Scheduled Oil Samples, machine inspections, electronic data, site conditions, equipment history).
Provide equipment and/or operation recommendations to the customer, PSSR, or ISR derived from Condition Monitoring data.
Build relationships with our employees (SOS Interpreter, PSSR, and ISRs).
Use tools (Texada Condition Monitoring Portal, Caterpillar Foresight, and Excel) to analyze and assemble data.
Use ServiceLink and EquipmentLink to extract customer and equipment history.
Prepare written reports and recommendations as required or requested.
Communicate verbal recommendations as required or requested.
Tasks Performed:
Monitor machine health for internal and external customers Review Fault Codes and SOS (Oil Sample) results and provide recommendations Analyze data trends to maximize machine up-time and aid with planning future needed repairs Generate fleet reports for internal and external customers utilizing existing company software Use collected data to support Product Support Sales Reps' sales leads JOB
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong technical aptitude preferred.
Ability to quickly adapt to new processes and work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Previous experience with heavy equipment operations or design preferred.
Ability to analyze machine health data and draw conclusions required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate Excel skills are required.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
A sense of urgency is required.
Must be detail-oriented and have strong time management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with Customers, Caterpillar, and other branch employees at all levels.
Willingness to continue obtaining provided education and training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
