Duties and
Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of the Venue Manager.
Closely work with the client on all the steps of the event planning from booking to the day of event.
Work the events (weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, etc) - mostly weekends.
Office hours Monday - Friday:
answer phones, respond to inquiries by e-mail or telephone, prepare packages for tours, prepare BEOs (banquet event orders), set-up the banquet room for the upcoming events, set-up tours of the venue.
Responsible for creating, planning, organizing, managing, and coordinating new special in-house events (dinner and show, Mother's Day Brunch, Breakfast with Santa, etc).
Assists Event Management Team with general administrative tasks.
Assists with the preparation of estimates, contracts and event itineraries, BEOs.
