Financial Services- Personal Assistant (Insurance Experience)

Senior Financial Advisor seeks an insurance/investment experienced administrative assistant to assist with the day to day operations of the business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting & servicing clientele, both over the phone and in person
  • Maintaining highest level of personalized and professional service to all clients
  • Making outbound calls to both potential and existing clients to schedule appointments
  • Assist with marketing efforts and client relations
  • Become proficient in the systems used for processing new and existing client paperwork
  • Input all paperwork into the system and monitor progression through final issuance
  • Assist with maintaining client files
  • General office duties including answering phones, filing and organizing

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years.
    experience or education received in Finance/Financial Services (or relevant)
  • Life and Health License and/or Series 6/7 strongly preferred but not necessary
  • Self-starter capable of working with limited supervision
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills, problem solving skills, be detail oriented and proactive in nature
  • Computer literate:
    able to adapt and learn new software quickly and proficiently.
    Must have excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programs

25 hours/week

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
