Facilities Director - Ohio CAT

Job Description

 Manage all real estate issues ranging from acquisition, disposition, legal, valuations, security, and environmental. Assist with planning, designing, and writing specifications of building construction or renovation. Manage and lead new construction and renovation projects. Manage the facility maintenance team and oversee physical maintenance and operations of facilities and building systems. Manage leases, contractors, and budgets related to facilities.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in working with professional services vendors and contract management.

Have a mix of people, technical, analytical and operations skills and ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively cross-functionally. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality. Ability to maintain a positive and helpful attitude in a fast-paced environment. Strong project management, analytical, presentation, communication, and organizational skills. Solid understanding of construction project and facilities management, finance and budgeting principles. Must have working knowledge of construction techniques and methods, and materials required to build objects, structures, and buildings; and maintenance and repair of same.

B.S. Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Facilities Engineering or equivalent experience. Six to Eight years of full-time experience including leadership responsibilities, Facilities Management, Office Management and/or Corporate Services. Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations. Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.  Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Extensive logistical knowledge in planning and executing office relocation.  Experience maintaining office space for a rapidly growing company is a plus. HVAC certification strongly preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
