HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY)

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE FOR CURRENT FEDERAL EMPLOYEES:
Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes knowledge of, and skill in applying, military personnel policies, procedures, regulations, and processes sufficient to serve as a technical authority covering Air Force procurement of resources, classification structures and procedures, test administration and interpretation, assignment policies and procedures, interviewing and guidance techniques of the personnel data system. Also, knowledge of translating program policies into directives, publications and oral instructions. Skills in making special studies requiring the search for and selection and evaluation of data. Correlates report data to foster and develop program management consistent with agency mission. Ability to compile, prepare, and track personnel accession data and then identify potential concerns to senior level management is also required. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE NON-FEDERAL FEDERAL EMPLOYEES:

Completed graduate level education in a field directly related which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. NOTE:

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE:

Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in -grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-08 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) NON-FEDERAL POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in -grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-08 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of, and the ability to interpret, a variety of rules, regulations, military personnel procedures, recruiting sales processes, educational processes, and precedents relating to DoD and AF recruitment programs for line officers with sufficient skill to resolve technical problems and apply them to specific cases. 2. Knowledge of the organization and its function and programs to answer inquiries of a general nature or to refer them to the responsible staff member. 3. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs. 4. Basic knowledge of arithmetic sufficient to perform computations pertaining to service record entries. 5. Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions from information, and communicate information clearly, both orally and in writing. 6. Ability to plan, organize work, give presentations, and meet required deadlines. PART-TIME OR UNPAID
Experience:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
